Yep, the BBQs and beer are most important, off load fuel or co- pilot from your aircraft if necessary.

Well here's my flying pig entry for this year, backtracking on a coral runway. I can't see a preview, may have forgotten how to do this, so it may look wide/silly but here goes. Dave H

Yes well ... thought it might look silly (above). It's not meant to be a streamlined high-speed Valetta!

Well, we're underway.. Here's the 'tross at Horn Island, all set for the adventure. Don't spread it around, but there is beer aboard. And parked at Badu Island.

Well there certainly is plenty of cargo aircraft available to carry all the BBq equipment and food and of course BEER as none is available up in the north, we have to take our own ..... Im sure we can get a clearance for that as long as we take all the rubbish with us.
Cheers

At Horn Is ready for a beer run down to the Army guys at Weipa on exercise...... the scenery is a little sparse as I can remember it's a little bigger than this but then again I expect there is not much of a demand for better scenery here wot !!! cheers Shorty

Very impressed with the East West Airlines DC-3. A very good friend of mine worked for East West on their DC-3s. Cheers Rob

That port of call was definitely "Caribou" country, Fly Low, Fly Slow. Had a quick glance out the side window and saw a couple of mountain goats whilst landing and that was about it. Did not stay long as the goats looked a little hungery and I bet they just love to eat metal planes, so it was a quick trip behind the nearest bush, then back in the cockpit and off we went. Rob
