Today I have flown Leg 9. Everything was running normally until my approach to BLI. From a distance I could see a parallelipipedic shape raising from the flat ground. And the BLI runway was on top of it... I am running P3Dv4.4. I believe the abnormal situation results from a wrong set of coordinates for this runway. I would like to know if other fellow members have the same situation. Kind Regards, Domingos Yes I just brought up P3DV4 and that runway is on a mound and I have nothing extra installed so looks like the default scenery lol Uninstalled P3DV4 and re-installed V2 and BLI runway is in the jungle like it's supposed to be so fault musst be in V4 scenery saw a couple of mounds with runways on them in that area . Sad but I have not been a fan of the P3CV4 from the start and now hear they are taking the Baron out of it , lots of aircraft in there but if you look non of them have a panel so you cannot bring them up or fly them unless you install a panel from something else which is possible I use FSX Steam and have no problems with anything .

I like P3Dv4: its main virtue is to have reduced system crashes to near nil. As you say there are more airports like BLI (at least one!). But otherwise I am happy with this sim. If I were to fly frequently in the area I would contact LM to suggest the correction of their scenery.
Regards,
Domingos

Hello Philippe! I do not have any addon for that area. I have OrbX but only for Europe. I checked the situation today starting a flight at BLI. The aircraft was on a mesa, at over 700 feet (the GAAR information says it should be at 51 feet). Interestingly I can see another mesa nearby. So for my next leg I will departing from a (very tall) aircraft carrier... Regards, Domingos Hi Domingos,
Same experience for me and likewise default P3Dv4 scenery. Looks like there are some terrain elevation problems in this area. I just opened FSX-SE at Balimo and the runway is still at the wrong elevation (700 feet) but the surrounding terrain matches. No mesas in sight. Maybe FTX Global is doing it? I have that installed in P3Dv4 but not FSX-SE.

Well actually got the flights finished today as RW interfered. My aim was to get within 1 minute of target times with only doing a downwind, base and final at destination airfield. I was quite pleased I seemed generally to have managed it. Very enjoyable rally thanks for organising it.

I see that P3DV4.5 is now available, and I have not even updated to 4.4 yet. I am currently down South for work but will get the roster up to date at the weekend. Thanks to everyone for taking part and the kind words in pireps. We could not do it without everyone participating.
Cheers, Allan

Don't rush the 4.5 update, many aircraft may not be compatable as yet.
Cheers Rob

Heard V4 doesn't have the Baron anymore they have been told not to put it in by the people that own it
Been a week now the rally is over when do we get the last two legs and final scores ??

I'm confused. I'm flying Flight C and my first leg expected time was 70.16. I came in at 66.00. Why did I not get any points for this?
