Decisions, decisions, decisions...Should I go with the Duck, Widgeon, Goose, Mallard, Albatross? How about the PBM5A? Or a Catalina? Or... And the winner is (Actually, there are two) The Supermarine WALRUS!, the Shagbat! The Steam Pigeon! Brought to you by the same people that brought you the Spitfire...REALLY! And the second is one of the all time great bush planes, the Noorduyn Norseman: Land Plane And Float Plane

Panel Modifications for Rally's Ford Tri-Motor Fairchild F-91 The FT Timer saves a lot of brain drain , and so does the modern radio banks(easy on the eyes). I find the radio/radar altimeter a great add on for Seaplanes, especially for foggy and low light water landings.

David,
You should write a tutorial on how to do these modifications. I really like that radio and GPS set up.

David, You should write a tutorial on how to do these modifications. I really like that radio and GPS set up. It has taken me months to figure it out. Now about 4 hours to move things around on a 2D panel so it scans the way I like it for IFR. I will try to start a thread to explain it. In the regular Bluegrass Forms.

Test flight is done, so now it's time to light up "Putsy Putsy", and head out...
And we're off!
The Shagbat in it's element...
Nanaimo, on course, on time.
Didn't get any pics arriving at Port Hardy, oh well.
Leaving Port Hardy, winging over the Strait of Georgia
Uhm, guys, did we end up in Norway?
Sure looks like Norway...
Nope, we're still in Canada, Bella Coola, to be exact.

And we're off and racing past Renton Majestic Mt Rainer in the distance
Passing over the docks
They say you should never look behind you but when it's this pretty...
And we arrive over the Graye NDB. I ended up flying around 140Kn which is a little below the standard cruise speed of 150Kn (30" and 2K RPM)
