Actually, it is either depending on the sim.
I spotted this when checking out the flights and then forgot when I was updating the flight directions.
In FS9 it is 111.75 and in FSX/P3D it is 111.40.
I will update the flight directions.
Thanks for pointing it out. Cheers, Allan

If you don't have a suitable aircraft for the floatplane legs feel free to use the land airfields at the start and end of the relevant legs instead.

Thank you, Allan! I'll take the test flight and sign up tonight! Ernie and copilot and Nancy the stewardess are looking forward to the flight! Irene is unhappy, but that's too bad. We've got a mission to go on!

Having problems using flights (daily and test) when running STEAM FSX-SE on 64 bite machine and NO boxed version of FSX on system. Tried starting using an alternate app defining where STEAM-SE fsx is located and it does start steam but stops at the initial screen and allows access to FSX in Free Flight... The .WX, .FLT, and, .FSSAVE files are not recognized. Is anyone having the same problem and if so did you find a fix.

Gunk,
As an alternate, go to the flight plans and set your sim manually as per the departure information on the flight plan. The flight plans were created using P3D so following them should not be a problem with your Steam.

The download FSX files were set up on an original FSX setup, and I have been able to load them into the "Flightsimulator X Files" folder in Documents and be recognised on a Steam setup that uses the E Drive.
Where is the "Flightsimulator X Files" folder on your setup?

Rob F Thanks for the input but without being able to start with FSSAVE then you don't get the other information that was used by the developer. When I fly using FSSAVE to activate the FS I get changing weather, winds, etc. I have tried various ways to start without success.

Gunk,
When you start FSX under steam, go to the free flight start menu. Immediately press Save... The Save Flight screen that comes up will show all the saved flights on your system.
Do you see the BCAR17-01(FSX)and other files for the rally there?
If not, it is possible to set up the daily weather from the flight information pdf. You would need to select the change weather option from the free flight screen, after first selecting the start location and time and season to the daily start location. On the weather screen you would then select the weather theme and then user defined weather and press the customize tab. That will then display slider bars that let you set the wind speed, precipitation and wind direction.
You would get most of our intended experience from just selecting the weather theme alone from the first weather setup screen.
cheers, Allan
