I have learnt that the flights in November will overlap with the DC-3 Airways World Rally. To assist participation in both events the final target submission dates for each of these legs has been extended to December. Next year we will move forward again to September/October.

As P3D has few options for floatplanes Rule 3 for eligible aircraft has been redrafted:
3. Participants may fly any piston or turboprop engined aircraft of their choice that flew in the period 1903 to 1975, or any GA aircraft. Three of the legs are for amphibian/floatplane aircraft, and the other seven are for landplanes.
Therefore entries should consist of one of the following:
* an amphibian * two aircraft - one landplane and one floatplane/flying boat. * a landplane and the three watery legs can be flown from adjacent airfields to the set points in the start flights.
In summary, we have provided the option to mix land and float planes but will happily accommodate anyone wanting to fly a landplane for all legs.

The flightplans are now linked from the web page, along with daily fight start files for FS9 and FSX.
As I have recently learned that FSX flight files are not compatible with P3D V4 we hope to shortly also provide daily start files for P3D V4 as well. You learn something new every day or two.
Cheers, Allan

Cheers, Allan Allan: Either you've already tweaked your flight plans for P3Dv4, or I dunno what, but I just got the FSX file to load in my P3Dv4. It started with that ridiculous F-22, so I'll have to fly my missions with that. Izzat OK? Just kidding. I'll be in a newly polished DC-3 Airways silver/red C-47. Ernie's ass is still tired, and Nancy says she had a really great time last night, but we're all looking forward to the flight series!

I used it in P3Dv4 and it started with a DC-3. But I had moved the default DC-3 over.

Hello Allan and all pilots,
while flightplanning to these great destinations, I think I found some little mistakes in the flight information document (SNAR2018_Flightplans.pdf), which I'm listing hereunder : - LEG 8 : after take-off from ENRM, we don't want to track to Vaernes airport ENVA for a touch and go (this was copied from LEG 7), but to Bodo ENBO - LEG 9 : after take-off from ENRM, we don't want to track to Vaernes airport ENVA for a touch and go (this was copied from LEG 7), but I cannot find out from the map if there will be a touch and go during this leg ; what I know is that we don't need arrival info in Bodo ENBO, and have to track to Tromso ENTC, not to Mehamn. I did not check the distances and headings and hope that this will be useful for reliable flight planning.
Thanks for all the work putting up these 10 flights. Raphael

Errors corrected. The latest version of the flightplans is now on the download link.
Thanks for pointing these out.
If the FSX files are working in P3D then that is fine. Meantime we will still upload some P3D files when available.
Regards, Allan

John Allard's excellent airport diagrams are available from the link on the front page. Follow the instructions on the front page to get to the folder with the airport diagrams.
Thanks John for your continuing support.
If you follow the links you will find out just how prodigious John has been in producing airport diagrams for the flight simming community.
Best regards, Allan

Thanks to Steve Gerig we have some scenario files for the first two legs for P3D V4. Apparently flights without flight plans are scenarios in P3D V4.

We have scenario files for P3D V4 for all the legs thanks to Steve.
I am currently away for work again, I should know better but there you are, and have hit a glitch with this tablet in the upload software. I hope to get back in control of the win 8 beastie by tomorrow night. If not, anyone registering will be emailed target times until I get home.
Cheers, Allan

Thanks for all your hard work Allan. Much appreciated. I know from experience how much hard graft goes into these kind of events. Great job fella!
